Hung Fuk Tong —
Square PP herbal-tea bottle with energy-absorbing vacuum panels
The Challenge:
Herbal tea is filled hot (up to 100°C). As the liquid cools, strong negative pressure builds inside the bottle — collapsing and warping ordinary plastic bottles at random, ruining shelf appearance.
Our Solution:
We developed a square PP bottle for Hung Fuk Tong with engineered vacuum panels (pressure-relief windows). As negative pressure forms, the panels flex inward in a controlled way, absorbing the force — keeping the bottle upright, straight and shelf-perfect while staying hot-fill safe.
